The Java Community Process (JCP) program presented the 10th Annual JCP Award at JavaOne in San Francisco. They winners are: JCP Member/Participant of the Year: London Java Community and SouJava; Outstanding Spec Lead: Victor Grazi; and Most Significant JSR: JSR 348, JSR 355 and JSR 358, collectively known as "JCP.next." Congratulations to these award winners! Onward with the new JCP.

Four luminaries in the Java community have been selected as new Java Champions. The are Agnes Crepet, Lars Vogel, Yara Senger and Martijn Verburg. They were selected for their technical knowledge, leadership, inspiration, and tireless work for the Java community and will participate in the Java Champions program. |
